🌿 This lovely pair of vintage, solid wood bedside tables got a modern update that highlights the original design of the pieces.
🌿 Worn, dark, and dirty, the set got a deep clean, followed by the removal of the chipped mahogany veneer on each top. This process revealed a combination of different wood types, including maple and oak. Though the tops on each table are different, they have been given a custom paint wash that spotlights the wood grain of each piece.
🌿 The body and drawers have been painted in a custom deep green, a mix of Wise Owl Paint's Botanical and Jet Black. New antique brass bail pulls pay homage to the original character of the tables and tie in perfectly the details of the carved chunky legs and curved trim detail above the cubby space. 
🌿 The drawers have been lined with a cream and white botanical print and glide with ease. This pair is tall by its original design and would be great for a bedroom with a higher bed. There is plenty of storage space between the drawers and the cubby, and the green paint adds just the right amount of color, especially paired with a neutral space.
