This lovely oak washstand was in solid shape but was in desperate need of an update. The original doors were missing and have been removed entirely as part of the update. The outside of the washstand has been sanded down to raw wood and was given a light custom paint wash to brighten and neutralize the wood grain.  
Both drawers are dovetailed and have been updated with beautiful pulls and a pretty liner inside each drawer. The open cubby has been painted in Pebble, a very pretty light gray from Fusion Mineral Paint. The seagrass basket in the photos is included with the sale of the washstand and has a lid to stow away your possessions. It is easily removable. The entire piece has been sealed in a water-based satin polyurethane.
The washstand sits on new caster wheels, which are removable if desired. An excellent, smaller, neutral-toned storage piece, it is available for pickup in Windham, Maine, near the high school. Please see detailed measurements below.
