This gorgeous, solid oak washstand has been revived! When I sourced this piece, the top was broken into several pieces, and the door would not close. After gluing, clamping, and reattaching the top, the door was removed and planed down so that it could close. 
New drawer stops and a wooden rail were added to (quite literally) get this piece back on track. The door was also missing a large chunk of wood, which has been filled and sanded. After repairing the top, it was sanded and bleached and given a custom paint wash.
The body and drawers have been painted in Cyclades Teal, an exotic bold teal by Melange Paints. The top of the washstand has been sealed with polyurethane for extra durability. Original eastlake-style bail pulls were salvaged from another piece of furniture and painted oil rubbed bronze for the drawers, and a new white, ceramic drop-pull and magnet on the door complete the look. 
The drawers are lined with a bold blue and green print. Don't miss out on a lovely piece with great storage! Available for pickup in Windham, Maine, near the high school.
