My client claimed this antique Eastlake dresser and mirror set when she saw that it was available for customization on my social media pages. She chose this fabulous, rich red called Japanese Maple by Lilly Moon Paint to update the look. The color is spot on for the name! 
The knobs are original Eastlake hardware salvaged from another refinished piece, and they have been painted in a beautiful, brassy gold tone that complements the paint color perfectly. The drawers have Knapp or "pin and cove"  joints and are in excellent condition, so rather than line the drawers, they were left bare and refreshed with an unscented furniture tonic. The top was sanded down to raw oak and sealed with water-based polyurethane.
